So this blog is definitely on the lighter side compared to my last two. But I thought it would be entertaining. Tiffany's probably the most popular jewelry store in the world!! And definitely became even more known with Audrey Hepburn's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in 1961.
And now with stores worldwide you can find Tiffany's in any popular tourist destination city. But what makes Tiffany's so special? Is there jewelry and diamonds really any better then any other fine jewelry retailer? Or is it just that it's Tiffany's and you want that famous little blue box? But is it really worth all that fuss? You could get just as good of a diamond with just as perfect clarity from many other fine jewelry retailers for half the price. And that sterling silver necklace you bought from there was it really all that worth it? To have the famous Tiffany's heart that most people will just assume is a knock off. Or if you get something that doesn't scream I got this at Tiffany's and you spent double the price and you don't get the attention of going and buying it at Tiffany's, and could of gotten something just as nice elsewhere.
All of these arguments could be well argued and have been herd for years. But in my own personal opinion... it's like some people might say why buy that 100,000 BMW? When you could buy a nice running reliable car for less then half the price? But to me Tiffany's is my BMW. And that blue box and what's inside is worth every penny!
